Ukraine. Authorities: fatalities follow Tuesday’s rocket attacks

The authorities of several Ukrainian oblasts have reported fatalities and injuries in connection with Russian missile attacks. Transcarpathia, inhabited by the Hungarian minority, was attacked for the first time, the Kirovohrad region was also attacked, and two rockets were knocked down over the Vinnytsia region.

One person was killed and four were injured in the Russian shelling of the Kochubeiv commune in the Kherson oblast in the south of the country, local authorities reported on social media.

The operational command of the South informed the Suspilne portal about those killed and injured as a result of an attack by Russian forces on the railway infrastructure of the Kirovohrad Oblast with two rockets fired from the Caspian direction.

The mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadowy, informed about two people injured as a result of a rocket attack on the city. There are problems with electricity and water supplies in Lviv. The municipal infrastructure was seriously damaged.

The head of the authorities of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Valentyn Reznichenko, informed about one person injured in a rocket attack in the Kamien region. The railway infrastructure was seriously damaged.

A missile attack in Transcarpathia, Odessa Oblast and the Vyorkye Region

Missile attacks were reported on Tuesday afternoon in many regions of Ukraine. Zakarpattia, inhabited by the Hungarian minority, was attacked for the first time.

Two rockets were knocked down over the Vinnytsia region in the central part of the country.

The mayor Serhiy ParpuĊ‚anski informed about the missile attack on the city of Arkyz in Odessa Oblast. Ukrainian forces knocked down three missiles over the oblast, Natalia Humeniuk, spokeswoman for the South command, told Suspilne.

The Khorson region on the border with the Kherson Oblast was also shelled, the head of the district authorities, Yevhen Sytnychenko, announced on Facebook.
