The person in charge of the Human and University Rights Ombudsman of the Unach, Sergio Enrique Serrano Alfaro, pointed out that once he had knowledge of the public complaint made by a student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics, Campus II, of Tuxtla Gutiérrez , an ex officio complaint has been initiated and precautionary measures will be issued.
The university public servant explained that a hearing will be given to the State Attorney General’s Office, since the student of the aforementioned academic unit is reporting criminal conduct, in order to carry out the corresponding investigations, while the University will be attentive helping in the research.
She indicated that the area under her charge works as established by the action protocol in relation to these types of cases, which includes the aforementioned measures, in addition to promoting a rapprochement between the student and the authorities of the Faculty to which she belongs, to effects of having an accompaniment, guaranteeing that they will not have any type of retaliation.
He pointed out that so far it is the only case of which there is knowledge, related to the situation reported by the Unach student, and remarked that the Ombudsman remains open to receive and follow up on all the cases that are charged, promoting within a culture of denunciation in your community that helps to eradicate any type of violence within the university.
