Vaccinating children against the flu to relieve care? Unethical, panel finds

In April 2018, 82 percent still believed that children should be vaccinated. So now a small majority is against any form of vaccinating children, only 33 percent think it is ethical.

The call from experts to vaccinate children against the flu is intended to save healthcare as much as possible. The elderly in particular would otherwise be the victims. However, 68 percent believe that it should be accepted that the elderly die from the flu. They also believe that not all risks can be eliminated.

26 percent disagree and believe that what is possible should be done to make as few people as possible sick. ‘From a moral point of view we can and must use all available resources to stay healthy’, said one participant.
