Uruguayan midfielder Fede Valverde scored real Madrid, set a record for the Royal against Barcelona, after scoring the third deadly goal in the Clasico, which brought the two sides together yesterday, Wednesday, and ended with a 3-2 victory for Al-Maringi in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final.
Fede Valverde scored the 412th goal for Real Madrid against Barcelona, out of a total of 248 Clasicos that brought together the two giants of Spain throughout history.
Real Madrid won the Clasico against its rival Barcelona 3-2 during the match that brought the two teams together at the “King Fahd International Stadium” in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, within the semi-finals of the 38th edition of the Spanish Super Cup, to qualify for the final match.
The first goal for Real Madrid came in the 25th minute through the Brazilian Vinicius, who received a wonderful pass from the French star Karim Benzema.
Barca’s equalizer came in the 41st minute through Dutch striker Luke de Jong from a fatal defensive error for Real Madrid after Eder Militao failed to remove the ball from the front of the goal, hitting De Jong’s foot and entering the goal.
In the second half, specifically in the 72nd minute, Karim Benzema scored the second goal from a ball in front of the goal in a wonderful way after a pass from Danny Carvajal.
In the 84th minute, substitute Ansu Fati equalized for Barca with a superb header into the net to score the equalizer for his team, and the match then goes to extra runs.
In the first overtime period, specifically in the 98th minute, Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde scored the third goal for the royal team through a quick counter-attack, to lead his team to the final.
