Venezuela: the Capital District and the Miranda state return to radical quarantine

(CNN Español) — The questioned president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, decided that the radical quarantine will be resumed in the Capital District and in the Miranda state, starting this Wednesday, July 15, thus attending to the proposal of the Presidential Commission of covid-19.

The Capital District and Miranda return to level 1 after the government announced three quarantine levels on Saturday to fight the spread of the coronavirus.

At level 1, only essential sectors such as health, food, security and telecommunications will be able to function while the rest of the population remains at home.

At level 2, 10 productive sectors are allowed to operate and at the third level, about 20 sectors of the economy can operate.

Venezuela closed this Monday with 9,707 cases and Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez suggested restricting the movement of citizens in the Capital District and in the state of Miranda.
