For the second day in a row, the Schilderswijk in The Hague was the scene of riots. The police have deployed the Mobile Unit to restore order. In the vicinity of the Vaillantlaan, young people threw stones, eggs and heavy fireworks at officers, including from the roofs. Two windows of police vehicles were also killed.

Mayor Van Zanen has issued an emergency order. This means that persons who refuse to comply with the police are arrested. That happened more than twenty times. Wednesday it was also restless in the Schilderswijk.
