Weather forecast: caution on the roads this morning

This Tuesday morning, The Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM) issues a yellow warning from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. due to slippery conditions on the roads. This warning is valid throughout Wallonia, the Brussels region and the provinces of Flemish Brabant and Limburg in Flanders.

In the rest of the day, the weather will quickly become cloudy from the north with, over the far north and northwest of the territory, a risk of some scattered drizzle, according to the latest forecasts from the IRM. The center of the country will first of all benefit from some clearings and, to the south of the Sambre et Meuse furrow, it will even be a matter of still large clearings, or even a clear sky; however, cloudy fields should also reach these areas during the day. The maximum will be between 4 degrees in Hautes-Fagnes and 10 degrees on the coast.

Tonight, the sky will become overcast but the weather will be dry. You will often have to deal with mist or fog (sometimes thick). In Haute Ardenne, the fog may be freezing. The minima will be between 0 degrees in Hautes-Fagnes and 5 degrees on the coast.

Wednesday morning, low clouds, mist and mist will be present over most areas under generally dry weather. During the afternoon, some shy clearings will not be excluded, especially in the south of the country. The maxima will fluctuate between 3 degrees in the upper Ardennes and 7 degrees in the plain.

Thusday, a weakened front will cross Belgium. The cloudiness will therefore be abundant with sometimes a little drizzle or a few light rain. The maximum will be between 2 degrees in the Hautes Fagnes and 9 degrees in the west of the country.
