Weather in NRW: Thunderstorm shock on Mother’s Day – then the cold follows
The Weather in NRW will have some surprises in the next few days. At the beginning of the weekend it gets warm.
Then the meteorologists warn of thunderstorms. The beginning of next week is surprising Weather in NRW with shock temperatures.
Weather: Up to 25 degrees on Friday
First of all on Friday it is clear and dry during the day. The German Weather Service (DWD) speaks of maximum values between 21 and 25 degrees. A weak wind is blowing from different directions.
In the night to Saturday there are minimum values of 12 to 8, in Bergisch up to 6 degrees.

Saturday: Low chance of thunderstorms
On Saturday then cloudy, especially in the south and southeast. From the Eifel to Siegerland there can be light showers in the afternoon with a low probability of thunderstorms with heavy rain.
Otherwise bright to cloudy, dry. The maximum temperatures are between 20 and 26 degrees. So grill weather.
In the Eifel it should be around 19 degrees. A weak wind is blowing from a mostly northerly direction. Then on the night of Sunday, partly cloudy, partly clear, no precipitation. Lows 12 to 7 degrees.
Thunderstorm on Mother’s Day
On Sunday it will become increasingly cloudy. A rainy mother’s day.
Preferably showers like rain in the southeastern half; in the south in the afternoon individual thunderstorms with heavy rain.
Less precipitation and loosening in the northwest. 18 to 23 degrees maximum. Moderate to fresh wind from the north, sometimes with strong gusts.
Showers-like rain on Monday night with heavy cloud cover. It can get really cold again. Low values of 6 to 3 degrees, in the mountains up to 0 degrees.
The new week starts with strong gusts and freezing temperatures
Cloudy on Monday, more and more clouds during the day. Mostly no precipitation. Maximum values of 12 to 15 degrees, in the highlands around 10 degrees.
Moderate to fresh wind from the north, sometimes with strong gusts, exposes individual stormy gusts.
On the night of Tuesday slightly cloudy or clear and no precipitation. Attention it’s getting cold. Lows 3 to 0 degrees, in the mountainous region to -2 degrees. Spreads light frost near the ground. (pg)
