‘What a wonderful spiritual journey that must be’ – Wel.nl

Peter Pannekoek has had a Twitter storm after he lashed out on the social media platform at anti-vaxers, who are now also suddenly pro-Putin and anti-abortion.

“From anti-vaccination to pro-Putin to end up with anti-abortion” the comedian wrote on Twitter. “What a wonderful spiritual journey that must be!” He ended with the hashtag #NothingDanLiefde.

Pannekoek denounces the group of people who were against vaccination in corona time and now understand Putin’s war in Ukraine. And where we thought that abortion had become a natural achievement, this group is now also turning against it. They hardly seem to think about their views but just by definition want to go against the mainstream. The comedian has little patience with this kind of childishness.

But he can count on a torrent of negative reactions. “Every word in this tweet is made up Pannekoek. You lump groups of people together and fantasize connections,” someone wrote, for example. “How dare you continue this line and lump everything and everyone together!” writes another.
