In Messenger Rooms you can make video calls with up to 50 people at the same time, and not 8 as it was previously on WhatsApp, so its application will be a good measure to stay connected during the COVID-19 quarantine.

According to WaBetaInfo, the page that brings WhatsApp news to light, Messenger Rooms will be coming to Facebook applications soon, as announced by Facebook director Mark Zuckerberg at the end of April.

The way to access Messenger Rooms, according to Zuckerberg, will be through a link that will be shared through Facebook Messenger, and you will be able to access it even if you don’t have a Facebook account.

The Messenger Rooms application will also be seen on WhatsApp web, which you can directly access by selecting the attachment link and there will appear the option of video calls.

This new application will be a great rebound for Facebook as it will be able to compete with large video call applications such as Skype and Zoom, which are currently leading this category.
