The latest Agenas data relating to 22 November report a growth in Covid hospitalizations, both in resuscitation and in ordinary wards. Friuli-Venezia Giulia now has data from the yellow zone.
According to the latest data uploaded to the Agenas portal there are 8 Regions and Autonomous Provinces in which the percentage of posts occupied in ordinary wards by Covid patients with symptoms increases. The latest update it relates to the data of November 22nd, and the percentage of occupancy is compared with the figures of the previous day.
The 8 Regions that arouse the greatest concern at this time, as regards the departments, are Calabria (7%), Marche (10%), Puglia (4%), Piedmont (5%), Tuscany (all 8%), Umbria (7%), Sardinia (6%) and Bolzano (9%). In another 6, the percentage of Covid beds in intensive care rises: Basilicata (to 2%), Lombardy (to 11%), Veneto (to 6%), Piedmont (to 6%), Sicily (to 10%) and Trento (at 10%).
The situation is stable in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, but with levels beyond the threshold, equal to 15% and 17%. The Region will therefore certainly go yellow starting from Monday 29 November, because it also has a very high incidence of weekly cases (317.44 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants). In fact, for a Region to pass from the white to the yellow band, these three parameters must be met at the same time: incidence of more than 50 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants, occupancy of intensive care over 10% and filling of ordinary wards over 15%. And Friuli-Venzia Giulia is already beyond the critical threshold.
The Autonomous Province of Bolzano is also very close to yellow: here the intensive therapies have almost reached the maximum level allowed in the white area, they are at 9%, but compared to 21 November they are increasing (+ 1%). The ordinary departments are already overflowing, with an occupancy rate of 17%, stable compared to the previous monitoring. And the weekly incidence of cases, recorded from 15 to 21 November, is 415.47 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants.
