Windows has encountered a serious vulnerability

MOSCOW, March 14 – RIA News. Kaspersky Lab has detected a previously unknown vulnerability in Windows that could allow hackers to access the victim's network or device. This is reported on the company's website.

To exploit this vulnerability, cyber criminals have written an exploit (a program to conduct network attacks. – Ed.), Aimed at Windows 8 and Windows 10 operating systems. The vulnerability has allowed hackers to gain full access to the attacked computer, pointed out Kaspersky Lab.

Presumably, this gap was used to conduct targeted attacks by at least two cybercriminal groups, the company noted.

The vulnerability information was transmitted to Microsoft, after which it released an update for its operating systems.
