Agents of the National Police have been arrested during the early hours of this Saturday in Ceuta to the minor accused of committing a homicide in Algeciras last October who fled before appearing before the Juvenile Court of the town of Cádiz, at whose disposal he has been admitted under a closed regime in the Punta Blanca Reform Center of the autonomous city.

Judicial sources have explained this Saturday in statements to Europa Press that the specialized Prosecutor of Ceuta has supported the request of the Algeciras about the young man so that it remains locked up until it is made available to the judicial authority in charge of clarifying the murder of a 19-year-old man that occurred in the neighborhood of La Pinera on October 3, 2022.

The 16-year-old teenager was arrested after the fatal stabbing as the alleged perpetrator of the attack and remained in a closed regime for six months until, in the spring, he was released under surveillance and transferred to Ceutawhere he has family.

After being transferred to the other side of the Strait to appear before the Court in charge of investigating the case, where he had been summoned on Thursday of last week, the boy ran away and returned to the autonomous city, where the search and capture order issued against him has materialized.
