They rescue this weekend 272 immigrants aboard three small boats in the waters of the Canary Islands

A total of 272 migrants have been rescued in the last few hours aboard three different irregular vessels when they were sailing in waters close to Lanzarote, El Hierro and Fuerteventura.

According to the Red Cross, around 10:50 p.m. this Saturday, Maritime Rescue warned that it had intercepted a canoe with 128 people, who were transferred to the La Restinga pierin El Hierro, all being in apparent good health.

Meanwhile, at 11:38 p.m. another rescued boat arrived in Fuerteventura with 106 migrants in waters near the island, who were transferred to Port of Rosario. All were in good condition except one who was transferred to a hospital.

Finally, around 1:00 a.m. this Sunday, a new boat arrived, in this case Puerto Naos (Lanzarote), with 48 people without requiring any transfer to a hospital.
