Officers responded to the residential scene located near 35th Avenue and Deer Valley Road just after 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 12. Upon arrival, responding personnel discovered both elderly individuals deceased inside the home with apparent gunshot wounds.
“This appears to be a murder/suicide,” the Phoenix Police Department stated to FOX 10. Authorities confirmed that detectives do not believe any other suspects are at large in connection with the fatal shooting.
