Before any article is published, I undertake the following steps:
- Source Verification: I trace claims back to primary sources whenever possible.
- Cross-Referencing: I verify statistics and key factual claims against at least one other independent, reputable source.
- Final Review: I perform a final, careful review of every article to check for clarity, context, and factual accuracy before it goes live.
3. Our Correction Procedure
I believe in transparency and accountability. If a factual error is made, I am committed to correcting it promptly and clearly.
How to Report an Error:
If you believe you have found an error in one of our articles, please report it by emailing corrections@archynewsy.com. Please include the URL of the article and a description of the potential error.
Our Correction Steps:
- Review: I will review the information you provide and compare it against my sources within two business days.
- Correction: If an error is confirmed, I will correct the article.
- Transparency: All significant factual corrections will be clearly noted at the bottom of the corrected article. The note will state what was changed and on what date. For minor corrections, such as spelling or grammatical errors, I will simply update the text.
4. Retractions
In the rare event that an article is found to have a fundamental flaw in its premise or reporting, it will be retracted. The original URL will be updated with a retraction notice explaining why the story was withdrawn.
