Indiana High School Volleyball Semistate Pairings Set for Oct. 31
The two-round 2026 Indiana high school volleyball semistate tournament is scheduled for Oct. 31, with winners advancing to the state championship matches at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Nov. 7, IndyStar reported. Class 4A, Class 3A, Class 2A, and Class 1A semistates across the state determined the pairings for the penultimate round.
In Class 4A at Huntington North, top-ranked Fort Wayne Carroll brings a 33-1 record into a matchup against No. 5 Penn (31-4) at 10 a.m. No. 2 Westfield (27-2) faces Crown Point (21-13) at noon, with the championship match scheduled for 7 p.m. At the Jennings County site, No. 14 Floyd Central (29-5) takes on No. 3 Yorktown (29-2) at 10 a.m., followed by No. 13 Bloomington South (29-2) against No. 6 Center Grove (32-4) at noon, and the title match at 7 p.m.
NorthWood and Jasper Host Class 3A Semistates
Class 3A competition features semistate brackets at NorthWood and Jasper. At NorthWood, No. 19 Heritage (32-2) meets Hanover Central (27-7) at 10:30 a.m., while West Lafayette (21-12) plays West Noble (30-3) at 12:30 p.m., ahead of the 7 p.m. final. At Jasper, the host and No. 25-ranked Jasper squad (28-7) squares off against No. 18 Tri-West (28-6) at 10 a.m. No. 24 Cathedral (24-10) faces Batesville (28-7) at noon, with the championship set for 7 p.m.
Cathedral reached this stage after securing a regional title that ended a drought for the program, while Center Grove advanced by finding one more point
to claim its second regional crown in three seasons, according to IndyStar.
Peru and Bedford North Lawrence Host Class 2A Brackets
Class 2A semistates take place at Peru and Bedford North Lawrence. Benton Central (24-6) plays Oak Hill (24-8) at 10 a.m. at Peru, and No. 12 Southwood (31-2) meets Lakeland (26-6) at noon before the 7 p.m. title match. At Bedford North Lawrence, Scecina (17-14) faces Trinity Lutheran (22-10) at 10 a.m., and Heritage Christian (20-9) plays North Posey (22-7) at noon, leading into the 7 p.m. championship.
Delphi and Martinsville Host Class 1A Semifinals
Class 1A semistates run at Delphi and Martinsville. FW Blackhawk (23-12) meets Rossville (26-7) at 10 a.m. at Delphi, followed by Northfield (19-12) against South Newton (25-9) at noon and the 7 p.m. final. At Martinsville, Greenwood Christian (24-8) plays Evansville Christian (30-3) at 10:30 a.m., and Shoals (27-3) faces Lutheran (24-7) at 12:30 p.m., with the championship match at 7 p.m.
