The top four seeds – Canada, USA, Slovakia and Finland – earned byes directly into the quarterfinals. The remaining teams (Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, and Czechia) competed in qualification games on February 17th to secure their spots.

Canada vs. Czechia – 10:40 a.m. ET

Canada, dominant in the preliminary round with a +17 goal differential, faces Czechia.
