According to KBO competition rules, the selection order for the 2027 draft runs in reverse order of the 2025 club rankings: the Kiwoom Heroes pick first, followed by the Doosan Bears, KIA Tigers, Lotte Giants, KT Wiz, NC Dinos, Samsung Lions, SSG Landers, Hanwha Eagles, and LG Twins. The draft layout encompasses rounds one through eleven.
League regulations note one recorded trade involving draft rights for this specific class: the NC Dinos acquired a third-round selection from the Samsung Lions. Consequently, according to KBO records, the NC Dinos hold an additional third-round choice. If every club exercises all available selections, the NC Dinos will draft 12 players, the Samsung Lions will pick 10, and the remaining eight organizations will each select 11 prospects, creating a total pool of 110 newly drafted players eligible to sign with KBO franchises.
