Southern Illinois Arrests: Domestic Battery and Failure to Appear Warrants
Several individuals were arrested in Southern Illinois on March 21st, 2026, facing charges ranging from aggravated domestic battery to failure to appear in court on existing warrants. Arrests were made by police departments in Salem, Centralia, and Sandoval.
Salem Arrest for Aggravated Domestic Battery
A 53-year-old man from Junction City, Illinois, identified as Henry Rowcliff, was arrested by Salem Police on Friday evening following a 911 call at the Salem Mobile Home Park. He faces charges of aggravated domestic battery and a no-bond felony failure to appear warrant issued by Marion County. According to police reports, the alleged female victim answered the door and indicated Rowcliff was inside. He was taken into custody without incident.
Additional Arrests in Centralia and Sandoval
Centralia Police arrested 25-year-old Robert Gott Junior of Centralia on a no-bond Marion County felony failure to appear warrant, as well as an outstanding warrant from Clinton County.
Sandoval Police arrested 26-year-old Branna Reeves of Effingham on an outstanding warrant issued by Cumberland County.
Other News from Southern Illinois
In other news from the region, a 43-year-old Salem man, Jason Lewis, was injured in a deer-motorcycle crash on Green Street Road near Odin on Friday night. He was transported to Salem Township Hospital by United Medical Response. The Odin Fire Department also responded to the scene.
