Man Dies in Hartford Shooting on Albany Avenue

A man in his 40s died Thursday evening after being shot on Albany Avenue in Hartford, Connecticut, police said.

Officers responded to the 800 block of Albany Avenue just before 7 p.m. Following reports of a shooting, according to Hartford Police Lt. Aaron Boisvert . Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released by authorities .
