More than 60,000 students in Ho Chi Minh City participated in a synchronized Vovinam martial arts performance, achieving a double record – both for Vietnam and the world.
The event was part of the 50th anniversary program of education and training in Ho Chi minh City, themed “50 years of innovation in education: traces of the times – aspirations for the future.” It was organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and training, in collaboration with the Vietnam Women’s Association and the Nestle Milo brand.
Vovinam,recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage of Vietnam,was chosen for its suitability to students’ physical capabilities and its embodiment of core vietnamese martial arts values: martial spirit,national identity,discipline,and pride.
Through Vovinam training, students develop physical health, confidence, willpower, teamwork skills, and discipline – crucial elements in shaping a dynamic young generation prepared for the future.
