The story of 64 Wine began with Gerard Maguire’s experience in Martel, France, where he was captivated by the simplicity and perfection of a local Bergerac wine paired with duck confit. Inspired by this experience, and subsequent travels to the Basque region of France (Department 64), Maguire envisioned bringing a similar appreciation for artisan produce and wine to Ireland. He opened 64 Wine in Glasthule, creating a space reminiscent of a small French village.

64 Wine specializes in wines sourced from small wineries across the globe, offering a diverse range from Portugal and Veneto to Georgia, Slovenia, the Middle Rhine, and the Margaret River.
