Cedar Park, TX- The Rockford IceHogs (8-8-1-1) face the Texas Stars (4-8-2-0) tonight, continuing their weekend series after a thrilling comeback victory. Aidan thompson secured the overtime win,beating Stars’ goalie Remi Poirier at 2:37 of the extra period.

Last Time Out: Rockford won the first game of the series 4-3 in overtime Friday night. Texas jumped to a 2-0 lead in the second period before Rockford answered with three goals in the third. Nick Lardis scored two power-play goals, and Nolan Allan briefly gave Rockford the lead late in the period. The Stars quickly tied the game, forcing overtime. Thompson then scored his fifth goal of the season at 2:37 of overtime, ending the IceHogs’ four-game losing streak.
