The coach of three-time Olympic gold medallist Max Whitlock has said he is “incredibly proud” after his athlete was selected to compete at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Scott Hann, of South Essex Gymnastics Club, said it was a “dream come true” to see Whitlock chosen to represent Team GB for a third time.
“It’s a testament to Max’s dedication, resilience and unwavering commitment to the sport,” Hann said.
Whitlock, 31, will compete in the individual all-around and pommel horse events.
Lewis Adams,from Essex,has also been selected for the games.
The pair were named as part of a five-strong gymnastics team on wednesday.
