Regaled Aims for Graded Stakes Victory in Falls City at Churchill Downs

Churchill Press Staff Release – Breeders’ Cup Distaff (Grade I) third-place finisher Regaled impressed her connections earlier this month with her effort at Del Mar and they appear confident she can add another graded stakes victory to her resume in the 110th running of the $400,000 Falls City (GIII), the featured event on the Thanksgiving Day card at Churchill Downs.

“She ran a huge race in the Breeders’ Cup on a track where no one was able to be successful closing from where she was in the race,” trainer whit Beckman said. “She made a big move and our thought process was to see how she came out of it and target the Falls City if all was well. She bounced out of it great and I’m really looking forward to getting her back to Churchill in this spot. After this race,we’ll give her some time off over the winter and we’re really excited about her potential into next year.”

owned by Ribble Farms and Front Page Equestrian, Regaled closed from nine lengths off the early pace in the Breeders’ Cup to finish third, six lengths behind gate-to-wire winner Scylla. She’ll be ridden by Joe Ramos in the falls City from post No. 9.
