Today, Friday 28 November is the day of the general strike of all public and private sectors, called by Usb Private Work, Cub, Sgb, Cobas and Uses. It will also concern transport, schools and healthcare. There will be a demonstration in Parma, meeting at 9.30 in Piazzale Santa croce: “Against the war budget and the Meloni government.Free Palestine, break with Israel”.
The stoppage of public and private workers will affect transport, schools, healthcare and other public services. Essential services will be guaranteed in the guarantee bands during the 24 hours from 9pm on 27 November to 9pm on 28 November. The railway sector will join the general strike on November 28th, with a 24-hour mobilization starting from 9pm on November 27th to 9pm. During this period, delays, cancellations and route limitations are expected. The guarantee bands will only guarantee minimum services, but circulation will be significantly reduced throughout the day.

From 9.00 pm on Thursday 27th to 9.00 pm on Friday 28th November 2025,trains may be subject to cancellations or variations,due to a national strike by the staff of the FS Group,Trenitalia,Trenitalia Tper and Trenord.

Industrial unrest may lead to changes to the service even before it begins and after it ends.
Passengers who intend to cancel the trip can request a refund starting from the declaration of strike:
– until the departure time of the booked train, for Intercity and Frecce trains;
– until midnight on the day before the strike itself, for regional trains;
alternatively they can reschedule the trip, under similar transport conditions, quickly, depending on seat availability.
