Russia Opens Chinese Visa-Free Travel

The Kremlin has announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree permitting Chinese citizens to enter Russia visa-free for tourism and business purposes for up to 30 days. This policy is effective from December 1, 2025, and will remain in effect until September 14, 2026. the decree excludes specific categories, including journalists, students, and individuals employed in the transport and logistics industries. This reciprocal measure follows China’s earlier decision to allow Russian citizens to enter its territory without a visa for 30 days, beginning in mid-September and lasting one year.
