Rob Flooding Impacts Jakarta International Stadium Area

Sea water overflow, known as rob, flooded the area around the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) on Jalan RE Martadinata, North Jakarta. Several motorcycles stalled after attempting to navigate the floodwaters.

As of 10:00 AM WIB on Friday, December 5th, the water level on Jalan RE Martadinata remained approximately 20 centimeters (cm). Traffic in the area was moving slowly.

Officers from the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP), the public Service Unit (PPSU), and the Water Resources Service (SDA) were present, directing traffic and advising vehicles to avoid the deepest sections of the flood.
