A Big Week for Time+tide: Tudor Launch & The Ghost Kitchen

Table of Contents

This has been a notably big week for us here at Time+Tide. on Tuesday, we had the official launch of our tudor x Time+Tide Library & Lounge, which, without any overstatement, is the biggest moment in time+Tide’s retail journey yet. Tudor is a brand that the entire T+T team really loves and recommends – I don’t know for certain, but I’d be pretty positive that every single one of us is an owner, too (I’m wearing my Black Bay Pro as I type this!) We will always be a place for collectors to discover the hottest and hardest-to-get autonomous and microbrands, but collaborating with such an enthusiast-adored big-box brand like Tudor is another level.

Russell shared a great wrap-up of the event earlier this week, which I encourage you to read: needless to say, the London studio was packed to the rafters with Tudor lovers, with this launch event being just a taste of things to come as our Tudor experiment continues into 2026. As Andrew put it, “It was a Tudor Town Hall… A room full of peopel who have ideas and messages and feelings to communicate to each other and Tudor and Time+Tide about what they like, about what they hope is coming in the future collections and what they want from the next four months of the Library & Lounge. We have every intention to make this pop-up something that is remembered forever as a peak moment for Tudor in the UK.”

Who needs to see my face when they can see my watch’s face?

Wrist shot of the week: Franck flex

!nicholas rudaz double wrist shot fwd

I caught up with Franck Muller CEO Nicholas Rudaz yesterday for the second time this year: Nicholas was in town in August for the opening of Franck Muller’s new Sydney boutique (we caught up for a long chat then, too – watch our interview here), but it seems he can’t keep away from the Harbour City! I managed to snap this shot of his notable double-wrist combo: a Curvex CX Grand Central Tourbillon and a Crazy Hours with pavé diamonds.

BezelHold’s The Elite Watch Roll in Navy: Protecting Your timepieces on the Go

Travel often requires compromise, but protecting your valuable watches shouldn’t be one of them. The Elite in Navy from BezelHold offers a premium solution, combining high-quality materials with thoughtful design to ensure your timepieces arrive safely and in style.

Design and Materials

BezelHold’s Elite Watch Roll in Navy is crafted from premium tanned leather, providing a elegant look and feel. The interior is lined with ultra-soft velvet microfibre, offering gentle cushioning for your watches. The roll features BezelHold’s signature M-shaped compressible pillows, a key element in its versatility.

The M-Shaped Pillow System

These pillows aren’t just for show. They’re designed to accommodate a wide range of watch sizes, from slim dress watches to substantial dive watches. The clever design allows you to fasten your watch bracelet or strap before inserting it into the roll. This is particularly beneficial for watches with safety clasps, eliminating the struggle of trying to manipulate them within a tight space.

Enhanced Functionality: Integrated Ring Holder

The removable single watch pod now includes an integrated ring holder, a meaningful upgrade from previous models. This expands the roll’s utility beyond simply storing watches, making it ideal for carrying jewelry on your travels as well.

Secure and Stylish Fastening

German-made Prym buttons in a chrome finish provide a secure and refined fastening mechanism. Unlike zippers or straps, these buttons offer a clean aesthetic and avoid adding needless bulk.

Aesthetic and Practical Considerations

The navy colourway is exceptionally versatile, seamlessly transitioning from professional settings like boardrooms to more relaxed environments like beach houses. The semi shock-resistant structure provides added peace of mind, protecting your watches during possibly rough handling – whether it’s a weekend drive or an international flight.

Key Takeaways

  • Premium Materials: Tanned leather and velvet microfibre offer both protection and a luxurious feel.
  • Versatile Design: The M-shaped pillows accommodate a wide range of watch sizes and styles.
  • Enhanced Utility: The integrated ring holder expands the roll’s functionality.
