SAN JOSE, CA – A shooting in San Jose over the weekend resulted in one fatality and injuries to three others, according to police reports.
On Sunday at approximately 3 a.m., the San Jose police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the 2200 block of Lincoln Avenue. Initial searches of the area did not reveal any victims.However, authorities were subsequently informed that four individuals had arrived at area hospitals suffering from gunshot wounds. Tragically, one of these men succumbed to his injuries.
lincoln Avenue was temporarily closed between Franquette Avenue and Curtner Avenue as investigators processed the scene.
The examination into the shooting is ongoing, and further details have not yet been released.
