Bitcoin: Recovery Expected at the End of 2026?

Crypto analyst Jason Pizzino argues in his latest youtube analysis that the Bitcoin price may experience further declines in 2026. He believes the leading cryptocurrency might not reach its bottom until October 2026.

Pizzino points to the expectation within the crypto community for an eventual return to an upward trend, though estimates for this recovery vary over the next 11 months.

“Like I saeid,we still have some time,” Pizzino stated. “I think it’s too early to say whether we’ll move from the current low to a new record high or a low high, because that depends on were we are in the 18-year cycle.”

He applies the theory of the 18-year cycle – commonly used in real estate to predict long-term performance – to Bitcoin’s trajectory.

Pizzino also monitors bitcoin’s trading volume for signs of a trend reversal. He notes a current downturn similar to that of late 2022 and early 2023, which previously preceded a bull market.

“And this is exactly why jerky movements occur when no one expects them,” he predicts.

He believes the current bearish outlook is reinforced by the 200-day simple moving average (SMA) acting as strong resistance, coupled with a decrease in the risk appetite of crypto traders, as evidenced by the ratio of long to short positions.
