Google Translate now More Accurate with Gemini AI

JAKARTA – google Translate just got a notable upgrade thanks to the power of Gemini AI.The new integration delivers more natural and accurate translations.

The biggest enhancement is in how Google Translate handles phrases. It’s now much better at understanding nuanced meanings, like idioms, local expressions, and slang. This means you’ll get translations that *feel* right,not just literal word-for-word conversions.

For instance, if you translate an idiom, Gemini analyzes the context to provide the meaning, rather than a clunky, literal translation. This makes a huge difference in understanding the true intent behind the words.

The update began rolling out on Friday,December 12th,in the US and India. And it’s not just English! You can now translate idioms in Spanish, Hindi, Mandarin, Japanese, German, and 14 other languages.

This enhanced translation feature is available now in the Google Translate app for both Android and iOS. You’ll also find the update on the Google Translate website.
