Chicago, IL – Chicago Blackhawks center Connor Bedard will miss Saturday’s game against the Detroit Red Wings following an injury sustained in the final seconds of Friday night’s 3-2 loss to the St.Louis Blues. The injury, which appeared to involve bedard’s right shoulder, occured during a face-off against Blues center Brayden Schenn.

According to reports, Schenn attempted a stick lift which resulted in contact with Bedard, causing the Blackhawks’ star to fall awkwardly to the ice as the final horn sounded.
