Nick Reiner Charged with Murder in Deaths of Rob and michele singer Reiner
Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced Tuesday that Nick Reiner has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of his parents, acclaimed filmmaker and actor Rob Reiner, and photographer and producer Michele Singer Reiner. The charges include special circumstances of multiple murders and allegations of using a deadly weapon, perhaps resulting in a sentence of life in prison without parole or the death penalty.
According to a press release from the Los Angeles County District attorney’s Office, the investigation remains ongoing. Further details regarding the evidence leading to the charges have not yet been publicly released.

Nick Reiner was taken into custody earlier this month following the revelation of his parents’ bodies at their home in beverly Hills. Authorities responded to a welfare check after family members reported being unable to reach them.
