UAlbany Men’s Basketball Defeats Stony Brook 71-55

STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The UAlbany men’s basketball team secured a decisive 71-55 victory over Stony Brook on Wednesday afternoon. The great Danes dominated the first half, building a strong lead and maintaining control throughout the game.

UAlbany started strong, showcasing efficient offense and stifling defense. Leading the charge were several key players who contributed to the team’s impressive performance. The Great Danes went into halftime with a 40-27 advantage.

stony Brook attempted to rally in the second half, narrowing the gap with a series of baskets. Though, UAlbany consistently responded, with key shots from players like Lindsey and Matulu, who helped steady the game.

Despite another push from the Seawolves midway through the half, UAlbany answered with a decisive stretch, extending their lead back into double figures through a balanced attack and continued defensive pressure.

UAlbany closed out the game strong, securing the 71-55 win at the free-throw line and dominating the glass.
