Carroll Football Coach Riley Dodge Leaves for SMU

SOUTHLAKE, Texas – Riley dodge, the head football coach of perennial state contenders Carroll High School and Carroll ISD’s athletic director, announced Christmas Eve he is leaving the district for a position at Southern Methodist University.

in a statement on X, Dodge said he has been blessed to serve in the positions with the district for the past eight years.

“Words cannot fully capture what Southlake,TX means to me – it has been so much more than a job,” Dodge wrote. “It has shaped who I am today. I graduated from Carroll, met my wife Alexis in fifth grade at Eubanks, and together we have raised our four children in this unbelievable community.”

Riley dodge, who was also the district’s athletic director, led the team to the state semifinals this year.
