Sony and honda’s unexpected partnership is becoming reality, and it’s targeting drivers who believe long journeys are better with a DualSense controller.
Teh Afeela 1 is the first production electric vehicle from the duo,starting at US$89,900 (approximately NZ$150k before local costs). It boasts a feature no other car currently offers: built-in PlayStation Remote play streaming.
When yoru Car Thinks It’s a Console
The Afeela 1’s standout feature is native PS remote Play support. Owners can stream games like Gran Turismo directly from a PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 to the car’s central display, or to rear screens behind the front seats. You’ll need at least 5Mbps of connectivity to make it work.
Beyond gaming, the Afeela 1 delivers remarkable performance. Dual electric motors generate up to 360kW, powered by a 91kWh battery in an all-wheel drive (AWD) layout. The car launches next year, promising a blend of automotive engineering and entertainment.
