Columbus Police Investigate Shooting on Steam mill Road
Columbus, GA – December 29, 2025 – Columbus Police Department officers are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the 3900 block of Steam Mill Road, resulting in injuries to one individual.
Authorities responded to the scene early this morning and confirmed that one person sustained injuries. The extent of those injuries has not yet been released to the public.
The department’s Violent Crimes Unit has taken the lead in the inquiry, working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. As of this publication, no arrests have been made.
