Jonathan Baker Found dead Following Bangor attempted Murder Inquiry
Bangor, Northern Ireland – Police have confirmed the body discovered in Bangor on Saturday, December 28th, 2024, has been identified as Jonathan Baker, a 54-year-old man who was the subject of a police search following an attempted murder on Christmas Eve. The attempted murder occurred at a residential property on Chippendale Avenue in Bangor on December 24th, 2024. During the incident, a woman in her 50s and a man in his 20s were assaulted by an individual wielding a hammer and a knife. Following the assault, the suspect fled the scene on foot, remaining armed. A widespread search was launched by the PSNI to locate Mr. Baker. the discovery of his body brought the search to a close.
