Kay earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She furthered her education by completing a Master of science degree in science communication at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her academic background equips her with the skills to effectively translate complex scientific concepts into accessible and engaging content for a broad audience.
