Gresham Gymnastics Director and Police Officer Face Sexual Abuse Allegations

Gymnastics Center Director Arrested
Eric Stinson, 56, director of the Northwest Gymnastics Training Center, was arrested on January 4th, 2026, following a warrant for his arrest on charges of sexual abuse, sodomy, and attempted sodomy [2]. Gresham Police officers took Stinson into custody, and he was booked at the Multnomah County Detention Center [3].
The allegations stem from multiple reports made by former athletes at the Northwest Gymnastics Training Center, located at 2919 N.W. Division St. The center serves athletes of all ages and skill levels, up to 18 years old. Authorities believe additional victims may come forward.

Gresham Police Officer Indicted on Multiple Charges
In a separate case, a Gresham Police officer has been indicted on 56 charges related to the rape and sexual abuse of a child [1].
