Lenoir-Rhyne swim Teams Dominate Mars Hill, Continue Winning Streak
HICKORY, NC – The Lenoir-Rhyne university swim teams achieved a decisive victory on Saturday, defeating Mars hill University 335-169 at the Shuford Pool. The men’s team won with a score of 167-87, while the women’s team triumphed 168-82.
For the men, Levi McRea, Christopher Forsey, and Wyatt Herger combined for six first-place finishes. Ben Swetckie secured two second-place finishes in the 100-Yard Backstroke and the 200-Yard Backstroke.
Ella Penny spearheaded the women’s team,earning three first-place finishes in the 200-Yard Backstroke,200-Yard Freestyle,and 200-yard IM. The women’s team collectively achieved 10 first-place, seven second-place, and seven third-place finishes.
