ROCKLAND (WGME) — A man charged with drug possession is missing in Rockland after escaping a medical care facility.
Rockland police say they arrested 38-year-old Daniel Barnes after finding 10 grams of cocaine in his possession Thursday.

They say Barnes had a pending felony drug charge as well as a previous domestic violence criminal threatening conviction.
Officers say after they released Barnes to a facility for care, he took off.
Now Rockland police are searching for him.
