– Wreckage triggered a fire on the ground of a facility belonging to the Ministry of Defense near the village of Kotluban, writes Volgograd’s governor Andrei Botcharov in the Telegram messaging service.
– To safeguard the safety of the civilian population from the threat of detonations while the fire is being extinguished, an evacuation has been initiated in the village of Kotluban, he writes.
At the same time as the village evacuation in Russia, the Ukrainian capital Kyiv is being attacked with Russian rockets, says the city’s military administration.
