Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G: AMOLED, 8000mAh Battery Review

Jakarta: Tecno officially launched their newest smartphone, Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G, in India as a new member of the Pova line. On this smartphone, Tecno prioritizes battery life and superior visual experience.
Quoting GSM Arenathis smartphone comes with a number of improvements compared to its predecessor, including a large capacity battery, a responsive curved screen, and hardware designed for smooth daily use.
The Pova Curve 2 5G is positioned in the mid-range segment and features a combination of thin design aesthetics and screen quality that supports high-quality visual content. The launch of this device is scheduled to begin marketing in India, and is expected to become an attractive choice in the mid-range smartphone market in early 2026.

One of the main selling points of the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G is the 8,000 mAh battery capacity, which is one of the highest capacities in its segment. Even though it has a jumbo battery, the body of this cellphone is still designed to be thin with a thickness of around 7.42 mm and a weight of less than 200 grams, so it doesn’t give the impression of being heavy when held.

This device runs on Android 16 complete with a custom interface from Tecno, providing a modern display experience and additional features today. The photography sector on the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G offers a 50MP main camera on the back, accompanied by a secondary sensor and a 13MP front camera for selfies or video calls.
This camera system is designed to capture high-detail images in a variety of conditions. Other interesting features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Dolby Atmos support for more immersive sound, an IR blaster for remote control functions, as well as dust and splash resistance with certain IP rating certification.
Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G is announced to be available starting February 20, 2026 via online channels such as Flipkart in India. The 8GB+128GB variant sells from around INR27,999 or around USD310 (Rp. 5.2 million), while the 8GB+256GB model is priced at INR29,999 or around USD330 (Rp. 5.6 million).
This device comes in several attractive color choices such as Storm Titanium, Melting Silver, and Mystic Purple. The launch promotion includes discounts of up to around INR3,000 (Rp. 557,690) for purchases via selected banks or platforms in the initial release period.
With a combination of a large battery, responsive curved screen, 5G connectivity and balanced hardware, the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G is expected to attract the interest of consumers who need a durable device for daily activities without sacrificing appearance and performance.
