Nusantaratv.com – Well-known analyst from GF Securities, Jeff Pu, recently leaked interesting information regarding a major update that will be coming to the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max later this year.
In his latest research, as quoted from GSM ArenaSaturday (14/2/2026), Pu revealed five superior features that will take the user experience to the next level.
– More Compact Dynamic Island
Dynamic Island on the iPhone 18 Pro will be available in a smaller size, thanks to moving the Face ID lighting to below the screen. This provides a cleaner look without sacrificing advanced functionality.
– 48MP Main Camera with Variable Aperture
The main camera on the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max will be equipped with a more powerful 48MP sensor and variable aperture for more flexibility when shooting in a variety of light conditions.
– A20 Pro chip with 2nm process
The iPhone 18 Pro will be powered by the A20 Pro chip, which is made using TSMC’s first-generation 2nm manufacturing process.
This chip offers higher performance and better power efficiency thanks to a new packaging design.
– N2 Chip: Improved Wireless Performance
The iPhone 18 Pro series will also carry the N2 chip, the successor to the N1 chip which supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread.
Although further details are still under wraps, this chip is predicted to bring significant improvements to wireless performance as well as power savings.
– C2 Modem: Faster Network Speed
Another main advantage is the presence of the C2 modem which will be used in the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max.
This Apple-made modem promises better performance, making it a big improvement over the C1 and C1X modems used in previous models.
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected to be launched in September, along with the iPhone Fold.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 18 will most likely arrive in the spring, along with the iPhone 18e.
