Actress Jada Pinkett Smith, 54, shared on social media a special gift she received from her husband, Will Smith. They were life-size pillows with the faces of her, Will and their children – Jaden Smith and Willow Smith – as well as that of Will’s oldest son, Trey Smith, from his first marriage to Sheree Zampino.
On Instagram Stories, Jada posted a video showing pillows arranged in a large room, along with bouquets of flowers and a balloon with the word “Love.” He wrote: “Life-sized pillows for a family hug. Thank you, Will Smith. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone.”
Jada and Will met on the set of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, when she auditioned for the role of his character’s girlfriend. They married on December 31, 1997 in a private ceremony in Baltimore.
However, in October 2023, Jada revealed that they had been quietly separating since 2016, despite having decided to stay married. In an interview with the Today show, she stated, “It wasn’t a formal divorce, but it was a divorce.” He admitted that they were both “tired” of trying to make the relationship work, but emphasized that they still feel deeply loved and are trying to figure out what their future together will look like.
