From Football and Athletics to Rugby

Rademacher encouraged him to endeavor out, and within a week, Tasche was involved in bobsleigh.

Tasche now competes with “Team Ammour,” and in January 2026, the team secured the European Championship title in St. Moritz. He describes his role as a pusher, emphasizing the importance of a strong start to accelerate the sled. The synchronization between the pushers and the pilot is crucial for achieving optimal speed.

Pin Trading at the Olympic Village

Beyond the competition, Tasche has develop into known in the Olympic Village as a pin trader. He actively sought out pins from other nations, with the Jamaican pins being particularly prized, as a nod to his father’s heritage. He also successfully acquired a rare pin from Madagascar.
