Four Arrests Made Following Belfast Property Search
Police in south Belfast have arrested four individuals following a planned search of a property in the Danesfort Park area on Friday, February 20, 2026. The operation, conducted by Neighbourhood officers assisted by a Tactical Support Unit, resulted in the seizure of a significant quantity of illicit items.
Details of the Search and Seizures
The search uncovered suspected Class A, B, and C controlled drugs, along with drug-related paraphernalia. Authorities also seized cash, suspected ammunition, firearms, and component parts of firearms according to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI).
Those Detained
Three men, aged 25, 37, and 55, and a woman aged 56, are currently in custody. They are being questioned on suspicion of multiple offenses, including drug-related crimes, possessing a firearm under suspicious circumstances, and possessing criminal property as reported by the Irish News.

PSNI Neighbourhood Team Inspector Róisín Brown emphasized the police’s commitment to combating drug-related crime. “We will continue to perform tirelessly to search for and seize drugs, investigate and arrest those involved in drug supply and criminality, and remove drugs from our streets,” she stated as reported by RTÉ. Inspector Brown also highlighted the crucial role of public support in identifying and apprehending those involved in the drug trade.
